We took Brandon to a pediatric ophthalmologist this morning to check out the bump on his eye. (The pediatrician diagnosed it as a stye, but it wasn't going down with warm compresses and eye drops.) The specialist today diagnosed it as a hemangioma, a benign tumor. The plan is to keep an eye on it over the next three months and then, if needed, we go to a specialist in Kansas City who specializes in working on eyelids. Luckily, Brandon doesn't seem to be in pain from it. And he's still a cutie even with a big bump on his eyelid!
