Nursery Nesting

Nursery nesting started a few weeks after we moved in. I was pleasantly surprised to find how many of Brandon's old clothes I had kept. (I thought I had taken way more to consignment...apparently not!) So, the closet's been full for awhile.

We then spent a few weeks viewing our paint samples in different light. We were pretty sure what we wanted to use, because a friend of our's had used the same color in her daughter's room and it turned out really well.

Here's the prep work we did over Easter weekend...

...and the painting we did on Easter Sunday with the help of the g'rents. We also found a mission-style glider on Craigslist to add to the nursery. (SCORE!)

We did two tones of green and had two accent walls with the darker green (Valspar's Betsy Ross House Moss Green). It goes really well with the green and brown crib set!

I then added decals on the walls and hung Grayson's name over the window. I eventually plan to paint the letters, but I ran out of time and energy before G arrived. I think the white letters on the green wall look good in the meantime!
