I found an Ethan Allen sidetable/nightstand at a local resale shop a couple weeks ago and sent Rob in to work his magic where he managed to haggle $10 off the sticker price! (Go, Hubby!) He wasn't so sure about it (the table) at first because he was only seeing its current state. Once I explained my vision of the table, he was game.
We've been using the table next to the glider to hold bottles, bibs, burp cloths, and our neck pillow for late night feedings (and soothings that turn into both parent and child asleep in the glider).
I did a little searching on Pinterest to find inspiration on what color to use. I was thinking red, blue, or yellow. Personally, I was leaning more towards yellow. And in my search, I found this...

I'm pretty sure it's the exact same table in yellow! That settled it. Yellow! This table has some distressing to it, but I didn't plan to do that to our table.
After a few days, a couple coats of paint, and new hardware, we ended up with this!

I may decide to distress it later, but for now, I like it the way it is! On to the next project...stenciling a trash can, anyone?
