We acquired yet more of my grandmother's furniture for the house! We've put her couches downstairs in what I'm currently calling the Family Room. The furniture arrangement is a little ... squished ... cramped ... cozy! Yes, cozy! The plan is to move the television (eventually a flat-screen) to the center of the built-ins so that we can create a u-shaped sitting area around it. We might also add a low-sitting coffee table at some point. I found one at the Salvation Army Thrift Store the other day, but I wasn't willing to pay the $50 price tag they had on it. Besides, I'm not in a big hurry. Oh, yeah...carpet. We're eventually going to add carpet down there someday too!
