Plate Wall

I found some great inspirations for a plate wall on Pinterest several weeks ago. I gathered all my pretty miscellaneous plates that I've accumulated over about the past decade or so....and then it hit me. Project Paralysis. I couldn't decide on which wall to hang the plates. What if I picked the wrong wall and then had all these holes in the wall?! What if it didn't look good?!

After mentioning my Project Paralysis to the hubby, he just nonchalantly replied that if it didn't look right, then we'd try another wall. He had no concern for the potential Swiss cheese wall of holes I was worried about! Well, if he's not going to worry about it, then why was I?

So, with my Project Paralysis subsiding, I chose the wall over the couch in the living room. I worked on it over two lunch breaks during days I was working from home. The result...lovely!

I love it. I can look at it from the kitchen or from the big chair in the living room. I'm so glad I finally have a place to display all my plates. I even have more to add to it at some point. I'm so glad I did it.
