Brandon had his 18 month check up today. This was the first time he's cried through his whole appointment. The poor boy! He had one shot and we also filled out the questionnaire for detecting early signs of autism. (A good questionnaire, by the way, and B didn't have any early signs.)
After the appointment, we went to McAlister's for lunch. (And my husband informs me that this has become a tradition for us. I didn't realize we always go to McAlister's after B's appointments!)
Then on to the zoo! It was hot (and as a result, not very busy!) We saw the lions, fed the goats, saw tiny frogs, and fed the giraffes! We fed the giraffes last year, but he was too young to comprehend what was going on, so I was curious to see how he would react this time. And....he loved it!

There's an area near the reptile house with jumping water. It was perfect for cooling off! I timed it just right and got a few shots of him getting soaked!

After the zoo, we came home and jumped in the pool to cool off. Oh, and we had some homemade popsicles! I found some monster popsicle containers while out on my Mommy's Afternoon Out yesterday. They match a bowl I found for him earlier in the year. The 'sicles were yummy!
