I get this question every once in awhile from friends and family. So, here's an example. Someone asked me to work on her grandfather's cradle roll certificate a few months back. It turned out that there was also an 1890 marriage license in several pieces along with the cradle roll! So, the marriage license went from this...

Several pieces were missing, but quite a bit of it was still there. The owner didn't even know the marriage license was in the envelope with the cradle roll, so it was a nice surprise for her!
